Wild for the Zebra Print!

Who's going to read what I'm writing when you've got such a cute baby to stare at? Don't you just love the wild little outfit (courtesy of Bellies & Bottoms)--more to come in the next few sessions. This is a special little lady--Kelsey is my friend's baby. Kristin and I go back to the cheerleading days in high school, so now it's so neat to see our kids together . It's rare because Kristin lives in Massachusetts. Kelsey is absolutely adorable!

3 months Already!

It seems like Laila was just here for her newborn pictures. She was a itty bitty when she came @ just a few days old and was on the skinny side. Now her cheeks have filled in and she is angelic. This is a sneak peek for mom who loves pictures and baby girl clothes. By the way--Mom got the outfit at Bellies and Bottoms Baby Boutique in Brickerville. Absolutely adorable!!

Outdoor Sessions

Now is the time to start booking your outside sessions. You might recognize this mom, Lori Burkholder from WGAL. I've been photographing her kids for years now, but I must admit, this session everyone (especially the kids) were so much more @ ease than in the studio. We really captured the little moments between them and we had so much fun. Lori has a beautiful family and it's an honor to photograph them and watch them grow up.

For those of you wondering why you haven't seen me on Channel 8 lately, I resigned to pursue photography, but I will still freelance every now and then. After 10 years of anchoring and reporting, I'll still need a little visit to TV land every once and awhile. :)

Patience pays off....

So my daughter Paige and I headed into the studio to shoot some pictures for her thank you cards, despite the fact that her party was a month ago. She got her tutu on and did not want to cooperate. She laid on the floor and sulked a bit..and that's when I got this image. I just love it, but can't decide between the color or black and white...so I figured I'd post both.

Baby Blake

Super cute idea for pics..those coveralls for boys. Blake's mom came prepared with every outfit you could imagine and the bucket too! If anyone knows where to get one like this let me know...it was hanging out at Blake's grandma's house.

Funny thing is..I just got a call from another mom who has a Blake and she said, "I was thinking coveralls w/ no shirt"...I told her to check out the blog. She has the right idea! :)

My kiddos!

You'd think being a photographer--I'd have great pics of my kids--but the truth is, they're not very cooperative for me. They see me coming w/ the camera and run in the other direction. So--I got a few shots of them so you can see just how grown up they're getting!

Cousins!

Six kiddos + lots of snacks + perfectly coordinated outfits = great pictures that their moms can look back on years from now. Thanks to Grandma who got the outfits for the kids and helped as an extra set of hands during our shoot. I had wondered what the weather would be like in early April, but we lucked out, it was a gorgeous day, even a little hot ;) Who would've known?

Getting Ready for a Brother!

Maddie is so excited to meet her new brother! It's always neat to see families come back and get bigger. You might recognize her from my website--there is a sweet picture of Maddie and her father. She's a daddy girl, so Mommy is hoping maybe this next one will be a Mama's boy ;)

Little Liam

What a little peanut! I just loved these sleepy shots and of course, I couldn't resist the bear hat! He's got quite a head of hair though--so we had to take some pics of those locks :)

Bellies & Bottoms

This is a peak inside Bellies & Bottoms Baby Boutique which is right next door to my new studio @ Brickerville Specialty Shops. The shop just opened and if you look inside Clipper Magazine this month, you'll find a full page ad w/ a 20% off coupon that you can use this whole month.

Andrea and I are thrilled to be working together. You'll be able to shop at her place and get your kids one of a kind, absolutely adorable outfits. Then you just step out of her store and you're right @ my studio. We'll be working together on promotions, so keep an eye out for those as well. She carries Chichanella Bella Swimwear, Plain Mary, & 2H Hand Knits to name a few...some of the same brands celebrities buy for their kids.

Our philosphy--your children are only little once--and it goes by so fast...so, splurge a bit on those outfits that will make everyone go "Aww..." and then I'll capture their cuteness w/ pictures you can look back at years from now. After all--they won't let you dress them for long ;) Believe me, my six year old already has an opinion! ;)

Sisters!

How sweet are they? I love the little moments..from a kiss to a laugh. Cali is one and Bria is three and they are just adorable! :)

Ella

I posted one pic of Ella in an elf hat last week and promised to follow up w/ more from her session. I had an incriminating picture of Dad all dressed in my props, but he's a well known Lancaster county business man, so I'll spare him (this time!) ;)

Emma Lucille

Emma's cousin is one of my "signature babies". You've seen lots of her pictures in my advertising and even to enter my website. Now, it's lil' Miss Emma's turn, but Emma didn't get the memo on this picture taking thing. Needless to say, she wasn't too into it (we blamed it on gas). We just had to work with her a little and just like her cousin, she takes a beautiful picture!

Miss Noel

I've photographed lots of itty bitties lately. If you're waiting for your pictures, I can assure they're coming soon. This is little Noel. She slept right through our entire session. Not a peep ;)

They're Back!

These sisters are just like my daughters...very different personalities, but each so lovable and funny! Lauren is super cooperative and Paige is shall we say, just like my Paige, a bit of a free spirit. I won't tell you which one is which..I think you can probably tell :) Such joy!
