So...I've been photographing Liam since he was just a few days old. As a newborn, he was probably one of my most sleepy newborns ever. As an 18 month old....well, let's just say he didn't want to be in the studio.

That's why I love having an outdoor area to shoot in as well. He did wonderfully outside and it gives Mom and Dad a different look to their photo shoot, so not every session looks the same!

Cole is another one who comes quite a distance for his pictures. I hadn't seen him since his 6 week session..so it was so neat to see how big he had gotten :) He did so well! We were amazed that he sat as long as he did because he was on the move!

This is my little man, Holden. I finally got around to taking his three year pictures and his birthday was in June! He is a Mama's boy, so he loved the morning away with just me and no big sisters. Oh--I just want to squeeze him!

I have known Ashtyn's grandparents for years. I became close to them while interviewing them for a story for WGAL when I was a reporter. They started a program to give Christmas gifts to needy seniors and many of those people wouldn't have received anything if it wasn't for them. We ended up working together for years and they touched so many people's lives. Little Ashtyn's grandfather passed away this winter before she was born, but I have no doubt she has an incredible angel watching over her.

I've been photographing Grace since she was in her Mommy's belly (see my maternity section and you'll spot the baby blocks on her mom's stomach spelling out Grace). She is also all over my newborn pictures and is even "gracing" the walls of doctor's offices where I display my work. This time around, she was very inquisitive and wanted to look everywhere but me...(her mother and I were exhausted). In the end, it was all worth it!

Benson, Britton, & Braxton--Beautiful Boys

This family kept me hopping! 3 boys..4 months, 18 months and 7! Braxton here was simply adorable and with two older brothers, he is the most mild mannered little thing! Look at those baby blues!


Britton was not having anything to do with the studio so we headed outdoors to retrieve some sticks, mud and leaves (as boys do--I've learned this with my little guy). Once in his element, he did great! Simply squeezable :)

Hysterical. How else can I describe little Benson? He and his family recently moved here from the South. He confided in me that he left behind a girlfriend named Ava and he told me (this is a quote) "She meant the world to me". You can't make this kind of stuff up!

Gavin surprised us. He came in for his newborn session at 8 weeks old and often times, that age can be tough for pictures. Mom and I didn't know what to expect, but we were thrilled that he did so well :) It took a little bit of folding, but we managed to squeeze him into the coffee cup too!

Sometimes I have to wonder...I used to be a television reporter and now I'm a photographer who wears jeans to work everyday and barks at children to make them laugh (I also do a great monkey!) Before my photo shoot with Jeremy, I asked my hubby what to expect (my husband teaches at the high school where Jeremy is a student). He told me Jeremy is an all star athlete and sure enough, he showed up with uniforms for baseball, basketball and football (quarterback).
